APECO to host Indonesian group – BusinessWorld Online
THE Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) will welcome a 55-member business delegation from Indonesia for its first foreign trade mission this weekend.
In a statement on Thursday, APECO said it would hold the 1st APECO Business Forum on Saturday in partnership with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The delegation, in Manila from Aug. 21 to 23, includes senior executives from infrastructure, agriculture, food and beverage, healthcare, finance, mining, shipping, aviation and technology sectors.
“This is a historic moment for APECO. For the first time, we are receiving and hosting a foreign business mission,” APECO President and Chief Executive Officer Gil G. Taway IV said.
He added that the visit reflects growing recognition of Aurora’s eastern seaboard as an emerging investment frontier. — Justine Irish D. Tabile
